A layered urban garden combining lush perennial beds with intimate gathering spaces.
Northbrook reimagines a tight city lot as a series of garden rooms. Mature trees frame stone paths that lead from a front porch reading nook to a private back patio.
Plant choices were driven by Toronto's climate and the homeowners' love of soft, textural greens — billowing grasses, native perennials, and seasonal accents that change month to month.
Phased over two seasons, the build balanced new hardscape with thoughtful preservation of existing trees and shrubs.
